Tax Analyst

What you will do

• Coordinate federal, state, local, sales and use, property, and other tax filings with third-party advisors.
• Gather financial and operational data for tax compliance, reporting, research, and analysis.
• Prepare tax returns, payments, ASC 740 provision schedules, journal entries, and monthly tax account reconciliations for U.S. entities.
• Support Vertex administration, state tax nexus monitoring, and resolution of federal and state tax notices.
• Assist with transfer pricing documentation, monthly profitability reviews, country-by-country analysis, intercompany markups, and tax entries.
• Provide tax support to finance, accounting, business teams, and the Family Office, including trust and foundation workpapers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• 1–4 years of relevant tax or accounting experience.
• CPA license, progress toward CPA, or CPA eligibility.
• Public accounting experience and experience with sales and use tax compliance.
• Exposure to ASC 740 or tax provision processes, plus SAP and Vertex experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
