Claims Specialist (Auto Insurance)

Location: Tampa, Florida; complete in-office training followed by 80% on-site and 20% off-site work. Office: 5445 West Cypress Street, Tampa, FL 33607.

Salary: $28.29–$37.72 per hour ($57,000–$76,000 annually), plus 10% evening and 20% weekend differentials.

What you will do

• Manage incoming customer calls and reassure policyholders during the claims process.
• Collect accident facts and statements from involved parties.
• Investigate claim details and explain coverage and next steps.
• Help customers return to the road safely and resolve their concerns.
• Support customer satisfaction through empathetic, meaningful interactions.

Requirements

• Customer-facing claims experience is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, empathy, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work with multiple platforms and adapt in a high-volume environment.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Active Florida Adjuster All Lines (0620) license.
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs and measurable goals.
• College degree.
