CARE Team Leader, New Business (Insurance)

Location: Hybrid at the Bethlehem, PA, or Pittsfield, MA office three days per week, with work from home eligible two days per week. Campus attendance may be required at any time, and in-office requirements may change. Travel to Guardian work locations is required approximately 10% of the time. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.

Salary: $68,970.00–$113,310.00 base pay annually, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead a CARE team within New Business Operations and ensure consistent, consumer-centric service delivery.
• Motivate employees to take ownership of field partner and consumer interactions, requests, and outcomes.
• Manage consumer and field escalations, using available resources and sound judgment to resolve issues quickly.
• Monitor operational and consumer service metrics and controls to support business goals.
• Mitigate risks related to NAIC illustration and replacement regulations, NY Regulation 187, and other applicable requirements.
• Build relationships with Operations, Service leadership, and cross-functional partners across Guardian.

Requirements

• Leadership experience, participation in a leadership program, or demonstrated leadership capability.
• Experience in insurance operations is preferred; experience managing multiple lines of business is helpful.
• Strong collaboration, communication, organization, attention to detail, and deadline management skills.
• Ability to identify patterns and trends, develop practical solutions, and present ideas and team accomplishments to leadership.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations is preferred.
• Ability to work from the Bethlehem, PA, or Pittsfield, MA office three days per week and attend a Guardian campus as required.
