Data Science Intern (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Drive adoption of AI and agentic AI systems in next-generation enterprise products.
• Design and deploy machine learning algorithms for industrial applications, including fraud detection and predictive maintenance.
• Define analytics capabilities with data scientists, AI engineers, subject matter experts, and customer teams.
• Validate, interpret, and correctly apply new data elements to support customer decision-making.
• Implement AI and machine learning solutions on the C3 Agentic AI Platform for large-scale operation.

Requirements

• Pursuing an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or an equivalent field.
• Experience with applied machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI, including regression, classification, supervised learning, and unsupervised learning.
• Familiarity with foundation models and enterprise applications.
• Experience with Python or R and scalable ML, including distributed computing, cloud-native systems, or streaming.
• Strong background in linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics.
• Proficient spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Experience with JavaScript or Java.
• Experience with time series and dynamical systems.
• Portfolio of projects, GitHub repositories, or research papers.
