Senior .NET Developer

Location: Brazil; remote home-office position

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain back-end services using C#, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.
• Implement and evolve SOAP and REST APIs with appropriate versioning and engineering practices.
• Support service reliability through unit and integration testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Integrate systems and services using software design patterns, while participating in code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and apply emerging technologies to improve existing solutions.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Solid knowledge of ADO.NET and SQL Server, including database design and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with SOAP and RESTful services, plus XML serialization and deserialization.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and development best practices.
• Advanced English proficiency is required for communication in a multicultural team.
• Ownership, collaboration, adaptability, and effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Familiarity with specification-driven development and agentic approaches to software development.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
