Backend Developer (.NET/Azure)

Location: Liverpool City Centre HQ, hybrid with three days in the office each week

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per year, depending on experience

What you will do

• Build and maintain backend services using C#, .NET 8, Azure, and Docker.
• Design and implement APIs and data solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Deploy and manage applications in Azure Cloud using containerized workflows.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to turn ideas into features.
• Contribute to code reviews, retrospectives, and improvements to engineering practices.

Requirements

• Experience building applications with C# and .NET.
• Understanding of APIs, SQL Server, and Entity Framework.
• Familiarity with Azure and Docker-based containerization.
• Interest in testing best practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborative, curious, and problem-solving approach with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
• At least one year remaining on a Graduate or Post-Study Work visa; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Interest in Clean Architecture and the Mediator pattern.
• Experience with MongoDB, Grafana, Loki, unit testing, integration testing, and Agile methodologies.
