Senior Data Scientist (NLP)

Location: Work from home anywhere in the United States; relocation to various U.S. client-site locations may be required, with relocation paid by the employer under internal policy.

Salary: $92,901.04–$95,000.00 per year

What you will do

• Develop and interpret mathematical, statistical, predictive, machine learning, and NLP models for strategic decision-making.
• Evaluate population health management programs using propensity matching and test/control group analysis.
• Analyze fraud, waste, abuse, care management, medication adherence, and clinical visit data.
• Build probabilistic models for Home Health and long-term care applications.
• Develop predictive models to improve savings and operational efficiency across pre- and post-payment cycles.
• Design cross-client ML/AI solutions to identify inappropriate provider behavior and stratify social risk.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in the position offered, as a Data Analyst, or in a related position.
• Five years of experience with statistical and predictive modeling, machine learning, NLP, data mining, and statistical studies.
• Five years of experience using Python, R, SQL, and SAS to extract and transform data from multiple sources.
• Three years of experience with healthcare data modeling covering insurance and provider data.
• Three years of experience with healthcare insurance, healthcare economics, care plans, billing, utilization management, risk adjustment, and long-term care.
