Intern Finance

Location: Hybrid, based out of the Mankato, Minnesota office; up to 50% work from home. Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.

Base pay: $19–$20 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Review general ledger transactions and operating expense coding to support budget alignment and accurate financial reporting.
• Support pricing processes through data review, analysis, and reporting.
• Analyze resource allocation and capacity reporting.
• Maintain and validate Power BI reports and dashboards for finance and business stakeholders.
• Support monthly management reporting, financial analysis, process improvement initiatives, and special projects.
• Research and pilot AI use cases to improve finance processes, reporting, and decision-making.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field, with 1–2 years of coursework completed.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, or reporting concepts.
• Authorization to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or other AI-enabled business applications.
• Interest in data analytics, financial reporting, pricing operations, and FP&A.
