Tax Manager - High Net Worth/FWS (Tax)

Location: US TX Remote; hybrid designation also indicated.

What you will do

• Oversee tax preparation, technical reviews, and compliance for high-net-worth individuals, family limited partnerships, trusts, and estates.
• Provide gift and estate planning, quarterly and year-end consulting, tax research, and advice on complex tax matters.
• Manage assignments and engagements, including progress communication, billing, collections, and overall economic performance.
• Build and maintain strong customer, referral, and professional relationships.
• Recruit, supervise, develop, motivate, and review tax team members.
• Promote collaboration, inclusion, accountability, and continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Law; a Master’s degree in Tax or an LLM in Tax is preferred.
• At least 5 years of recent public accounting experience with individuals, partnerships, trusts, and estates.
• EA license or CPA certification required.
• Project and team management skills, including the ability to manage multiple engagements.
• Excellent communication, networking, customer relationship, multitasking, and continuous-learning skills.
• Experience with tax software and technology.
