Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

Location: East Berlin, Connecticut, United States. Travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire is required as necessary. Emergency restoration assignments may require work outside normal responsibilities, hours, and location.

What you will do

• Lead and transform the enterprise cybersecurity organization through talent development, succession planning, organizational design, and workforce planning.
• Develop and execute cybersecurity strategy, operating plans, governance frameworks, metrics, and executive dashboards.
• Advise executive leadership and the Board on cyber risk, emerging threats, resilience, regulatory developments, and investment priorities.
• Direct cyber risk management, incident response, crisis management, cyber exercises, disaster recovery coordination, and business continuity integration.
• Protect operational technology, industrial control systems, and grid environments while ensuring compliance with NERC CIP requirements.
• Oversee identity and privileged access management, cloud and application security, DevSecOps, data protection, AI security, compliance, and third-party risk programs.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of information security experience with a strong technical background and relevant business or industry acumen.
• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer technology, computer science, information systems, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• CISSP and/or CISM certification.
• US security clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance.
• Proven ability to lead teams through rapid change, influence without direct authority, and meet business objectives.
