  • Support R&D engineers with test execution, test cell layouts, equipment design, lab infrastructure, controls, LabVIEW-based software, and data acquisition systems.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree, two-year technical degree, or equivalent technical training in engineering, engineering technology, HVAC/R, or a related field.
  • Ideally 3–5 years of hands-on experience with sophisticated electromechanical systems in an R&D lab, test environment, industrial facility, or manufacturing setting.
  • Experience planning and implementing planned and condition-based maintenance in uptime-critical environments.
  • Background with industrial refrigeration or thermal systems, including integrated heating, cooling, and compressor-based systems.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical controls, PLCs, and sensors, plus the ability to interpret manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, and equipment documentation.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods; EPA 608 certification is required or must be obtained within three months of starting.

Nice to have

  • Experience implementing, integrating, or supporting controls software and LabVIEW-based test environments.
