Software Engineer

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States. On-site work.

What you will do

• Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design, code, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics, real-time systems, and large-scale data processing applications.
• Debug existing software, correct defects, and resolve software problem reports.
• Integrate software into new or modified systems and operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for databases and data repositories.
• Contribute to system design decisions involving software reuse, COTS/GOTS solutions, and hardware/software trade-offs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or four years of relevant software engineering experience as a substitute.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an appropriate current polygraph is required.
• Ability to receive privileged access rights.
• Experience with software development and software design methodologies.
