Senior Node JS Engineer (iGaming)

Location: Ukraine; remote and hybrid options are available, with a Kyiv office.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services with Node.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC services within a microservices architecture.
• Implement asynchronous, event-driven, and non-blocking applications.
• Use containers, orchestration tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize reliability and scalability.
• Review code, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and contribute to sprint planning and technical discussions.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of backend development experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience with NestJS, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Redis.
• Strong proficiency in REST APIs and gRPC APIs.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Proactive, results-oriented approach with strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of architectural and design patterns.
• Experience with high-load systems, ClickHouse, Sentry, Grafana, ELK, or WebSockets.
• Expertise in backend performance optimization.
