Cloud Design Engineer, Level 3 (Configuration Management)

Supports developmental and operational systems through configuration management, version control, build, staging, testing, and integration activities.

What you will do

• Create and maintain configuration baselines for development, test, production, and operational systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain hardware and software configuration management policies, processes, and procedures across the system lifecycle.
• Use configuration management tools such as DOORS and Eclipse to store, track, and manage configuration items.
• Manage the environment for product build, staging, testing, and integration, including build scripts and procedures.
• Perform change control and configuration audits and ensure version control procedures are followed.
• Advise or participate as a non-voting member of the Government Change Control Board.

Requirements

• Eight years of configuration management experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university.
• A master’s degree may substitute for two years of experience; four additional years of configuration management experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• At least one year of source code control system experience is required for developmental program assignments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with an appropriate current polygraph is required.
• Ability to receive privileged access rights is required.
