Accounting Intern (Year Round)

Location: Appleton, Wisconsin, United States

Pay: $18.00–$37.00 per hour

Manufactures highly customized fire and emergency response trucks, including pumpers, aerials, tankers, and rescue units.

What you will do

• Rotate through operational finance functions, including accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and supplier management.
• Assist with preparing journal entries and customer invoices.
• Develop practical knowledge of invoice processing and financial ERP functions.
• Participate in twice-weekly payment runs and fixed asset audits.
• Support ad hoc accounting projects as needed.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or a related field.
• Available to work year round.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word.

• Previous exposure to accounting through coursework or work experience.
