Senior Care Specialist (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Conduct telephonic clinical assessments for patients and caregivers.
• Provide disease- and medication-specific education using approved clinical protocols and resources.
• Collect data and document clinical interventions according to program guidelines.
• Identify, report, and manage adverse events in line with nursing scope of practice, FDA requirements, and pharmaceutical guidelines.
• Contact treating physicians about newly identified symptoms, medication adherence issues, and other clinically relevant matters.
• Support new-hire training, precepting, peer documentation reviews, and department projects.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited, state-approved school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing and an active, unencumbered license in the state of residence.
• At least three years of clinical RN experience.
• Completion of the NCLEX or a recognized state board examination.
• Eligibility to apply for or hold a compact license, with the ability to apply for additional unrestricted single-state licenses.
• Strong computer multitasking skills, proficiency with Microsoft applications, and excellent phone etiquette.
