Payroll DS Senior Analyst

Location: Hybrid role available in Manila, Philippines, or Bogota, Colombia.

What you will do

• Process and validate complex payroll transactions, reports, statutory payments, and third-party disbursements for assigned countries or regions.
• Prepare and reconcile payroll reports, investigate complex payroll issues, resolve employee inquiries, and manage cases through service management tools.
• Execute payroll activities in line with SOX requirements, internal controls, audit procedures, country legislation, data privacy rules, and service-level commitments.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives involving process optimization, automation, standardization, and analysis of system or process changes.
• Support user acceptance testing, system releases, vendor upgrades, audits, and collaboration with HR, Finance, IT, and external payroll providers.
• Mentor Payroll Analysts and support planning, project execution, onboarding, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, HR, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant HR, finance, or payroll operations experience, preferably in a shared-services or multinational environment.
• 1–2 years of leadership, mentoring, or coaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processing concepts and statutory payroll requirements, with proficiency in payroll and HR systems such as SAP or Workday.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic macros, plus experience with case management or ticketing tools.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, confidentiality, and prioritization skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting regional payroll processes or working with external payroll providers such as ADP, EY, or Deloitte.
• Payroll certification.
• Experience with timekeeping systems, continuous improvement, automation tools such as Alteryx, or payroll reporting tools.
• Familiarity with SOX, business control frameworks, desktop procedures, and knowledge-management practices.
