QA Technician (f/m/d)

Location: Saint-Hubert, Quebec, Canada; onsite

What you will do

• Analyze raw materials and finished products, including flavors, colors, coatings, and Vivapigments, against established quality specifications.
• Generate certificates of analysis and release raw materials and finished products in SAP.
• Maintain quality documentation, laboratory inventory, equipment verification and calibration records.
• Perform environmental testing, equipment inspections, GMP inspections, and other quality checks.
• Manage nonconformities, supplier complaints, customer complaints, and supplier records.
• Support audits, continuous improvement, problem resolution, and quality training for new and existing staff.

Requirements

• DEC in Food Process Technology or a bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in quality assurance or laboratory analysis, preferably in the food industry.
• Experience with SAP or a similar ERP system for material release and data management.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, quality and safety regulations, and certification processes such as Halal, Kosher, and FSSC 22000.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in French and English is required.
