Tekmar Electronics Assembler (Electronics Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada

Pay: CAD 21.14 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble small electronic products according to detailed instructions.
• Place components accurately and package products to meet production schedules.
• Follow English-written instructions to maintain product consistency and integrity.
• Communicate assembly and quality concerns to Lead Hands, Quality Assurance, and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Work safely and contribute to continuous improvement in a single-piece flow production environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or Grade 12.
• Ability to operate multiple hand tools safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and follow English instructions.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Successful employment eligibility verification, national criminal record check, background checks, and required pre-employment testing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 25 pounds, and move around the manufacturing floor.

Nice to have

• Experience using hand tools in an electronics assembly environment, including soldering.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
