Data Engineer (AI)

Location: On-site at hirify.global WHQ in Overland Park, Kansas; in-office attendance is mandatory. Applicants for U.S.-based positions must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

What you will do

• Identify, maintain, and leverage data pipelines, data models, reports, and dashboards to solve business problems with multiple teams.
• Develop practical knowledge of data integration, data warehousing, and data visualization on cloud platforms.
• Analyze and document complex data workflows, identify patterns and anomalies, and optimize data processing and storage.
• Contribute to coding standards and data engineering best practices.
• Protect PHI and other sensitive information in accordance with security policies and procedures.
• Use AI tools and platforms to improve decision-making and streamline daily workflows; grow into support rotations and deployment responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of related work experience.
• Working proficiency in SQL.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required; employment eligibility will be verified at hire.
• Ability to work additional or irregular hours when needed and sit at a computer for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Healthcare industry experience.
• Exposure to Python and Google Cloud/BigQuery.
• Exposure to dbt/Dataform, Looker/Tableau/Power BI, and Airflow/Prefect/Dagster.
• Exposure to Terraform and infrastructure as code.
