IAM Engineer with SailPoint (SailPoint)

Location: Balkans; flexible remote, hybrid, or onsite work models are available. Offices are located in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, and Nis.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and own enterprise Identity Governance and Administration architecture and operations using SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or Identity Security Cloud.
• Deploy and configure identity lifecycle management, access requests, approvals, certifications, role management, policy controls, and segregation of duties processes.
• Engineer automated provisioning workflows and reusable integrations with PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, and connectors.
• Integrate SailPoint with enterprise applications, directories, cloud platforms, HR systems, identity providers, and business-critical data sources.
• Design RBAC and ABAC models supporting least privilege, compliance, and operational scalability.
• Partner with cloud and platform engineering teams to extend identity governance across Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, AWS, GCP, SaaS applications, and DevOps platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 6–10+ years of experience in IAM, Identity Governance, Security Engineering, or Security Architecture.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing SailPoint IdentityIQ and/or Identity Security Cloud solutions in enterprise or highly regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of identity lifecycle management, provisioning, access governance, role modeling, SoD controls, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience integrating IAM solutions with directories, ERP systems, cloud platforms, databases, enterprise applications, and HR systems, including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Ability to advise senior stakeholders on IAM risks, governance strategies, architecture, and remediation.

• SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer, SailPoint IdentityIQ Architect, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud Professional, or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud Engineer certification.
