Medical Science Liaison, CNS – Northeast (CNS): Providing clinical, scientific, and health economic information on CNS disease states and Otsuka products while engaging healthcare stakeholders across a local ecosystem with an accent on patient outcomes, medical education, and evidence-based collaboration. Focus on shaping regional medical strategies, supporting clinical trials, collecting medical insights, and coordinating cross-functional field activities.

Location: Remote within the United States; preferred living location is a key city in the territory. Business travel by air or car may reach 70%.

Salary: $150,034–$224,250 annually, plus incentive opportunity.

What you will do

  • Contribute clinical and scientific expertise to ecosystem strategic plans and local medical execution strategies.
  • Build relationships with key influencers, local practice leaders, healthcare providers, decision-makers, and patient advocacy organizations across the territory.
  • Provide evidence-based clinical, scientific, health economic, and humanistic information about CNS disease states and approved hirify.global products.
  • Deliver disease-state and healthcare landscape education, including clinical and data-focused training for promotional and disease-state speakers.
  • Collect medical insights that inform evidence generation, prioritization, and healthcare solutions.
  • Support clinical trials, investigator-sponsored studies, health economic outcomes research, safety investigations, and field medical development.

Requirements

  • MD, DO, PharmD, or PhD in life sciences required.
  • At least 2 years of relevant pharmaceutical industry Medical Affairs experience.
  • Understanding of healthcare systems, patient care delivery, and collaboration with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, conflict resolution, business acumen, and strategic leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to work remotely within the United States and travel by air or car up to 70% of the time.

Nice to have

  • Training or experience in CNS disease.
  • Experience mentoring peers, new hires, or project teams.
