Data Engineer (Databricks)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake.
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows that ingest, transform, and load data from diverse corporate IT systems.
• Monitor scheduled data-transfer jobs and resolve operational issues.
• Contribute to data lake and data warehouse architecture, data modeling, reporting, and analytics platforms.
• Integrate data solutions with Azure, AWS, or GCP services.
• Implement data quality checks, governance practices, and CI/CD automation while collaborating with analysts and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar data engineering role.
• Expertise in Databricks, including Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, and Databricks Runtime.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Apache Spark.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP and with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, plus strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience; employment requires eligibility to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP, Infor, or Salesforce CRM.
• Familiarity with Tableau.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
