Senior Data Engineer (Stockholm)

Location: On-site in Stockholm, Sweden

What you will do

• Develop and maintain ingestion pipelines handling billions of events per day.
• Design, build, and optimise complex ETL pipelines and data platform tools.
• Support teams working with the data platform and establish strong software and data engineering practices.
• Work with Data Scientists to put ML models into production.
• Contribute to ML platform development and streaming solutions.
• Identify platform bottlenecks and improve performance and reliability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a comparable role.
• Strong Spark, Scala, and Python skills.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and large-scale datasets.
• Experience building complex ETL pipelines and using Airflow or a comparable orchestration tool.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, plus solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Willingness to work on-site in Stockholm. Clear communication in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Experience with streaming data and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of BigQuery or Redshift.
• Previous work on an ML platform or data platform.
