Director MTO Operational Excellence (MedTech)

Location: Geel, Antwerp, Belgium

Base pay: €119,200–€204,355 per year, plus an annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Shape site strategies, programs, and roadmaps as a member of the Site Leadership Team.
• Lead and sustain JJPS business processes, lean leadership, and the Culture of Excellence.
• Map site capabilities, identify gaps, and deliver reliability improvements for strategic brands.
• Own the CIP pipeline, site cost-improvement portfolio, annual targets, and related KPI and financial planning processes.
• Lead OPEX strategic initiatives including Smart Change Over, OEE, Golden Batch, Waste to Excellence/Yield, ZBB, and ideation workshops.
• Manage team resources, talent development, stakeholder alignment, performance reviews, and site-level OPEX communication.

Requirements

• Business and financial acumen to translate strategic issues into value creation and business cases.
• Required certification in Lean/Continuous Improvement, such as Master Black Belt or Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt.
• Experience leading and deploying JJPS/production systems and RCPS.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate vision and strategy in diverse, multicultural environments.
• Experience identifying, developing, and executing key projects or managing governance models.
• Experience facilitating workshops and managing stakeholders; end-to-end supply chain and technical-team experience are preferred.

Nice to have

• Project Management certification such as FPX or PMP.
• Experience with Lean Health Checks, site diagnostics, or continuous improvement deep dives.
• Experience developing others toward Project Management and Lean/Six Sigma certifications.
• Experience sharing best practices with internal and external organizations.
