Analyst, Investment Liaison (Investment Operations)

Location: Baltimore, Maryland, with hybrid work based at the Harbor Point headquarters and up to one day per week from home

Base salary: $69,500–$118,000 annually for Maryland, Colorado, Washington, and remote workers. Employees may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Support investment professionals with the implementation, management, and operational execution of investment strategies.
• Partner with portfolio managers, research analysts, traders, and business teams across Operations, Technology, Risk, Distribution, Client Services, Compliance, and Legal.
• Support investment team activities, account onboarding, operational readiness, data and reporting oversight, corporate actions, and GIPS compliance.
• Contribute to fixed income research support, portfolio analysis, benchmark and performance reporting, or multi-asset attribution and guideline implementation.
• Support equity product management and stakeholder coordination or customized private asset management solutions for high-net-worth and institutional clients.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to strategic initiatives and business transformation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in financial services or investment operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Python, SQL, or other analytical tools is preferred.
• FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Nice to have

• Experience in investment operations, portfolio support, or financial services.
• Experience using AI-enabled technologies, automation tools, and emerging digital capabilities to improve operational effectiveness.
• Progress toward or completion of a CFA and/or MBA.
