Base salary: $133,500–$274,100 per year

What you will do

• Review and evaluate clinical documentation for disability claims and underwriting applications across hirify.global US product lines.
• Provide timely medical direction, opinions, and reasoned forensic analysis to business partners.
• Assess functional capacity, diagnoses, treatment plans, duration guidelines, and prognosis.
• Consult with other medical consultants and make referrals for second-opinion reviews when appropriate.
• Contact insureds’ healthcare providers by telephone to gather medical information and clarify functional abilities.
• Manage high volumes of assigned work while maintaining quality, urgency, and turnaround-time standards.

Requirements

• Professional medical degree: MD or DO.
• Active, unrestricted US medical license required.
• Board certification in the relevant specialty required.
• At least five years of clinical experience in a medical specialty.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-based corporate environment.
• Ability to mentor others and give and receive constructive feedback.

Nice to have

• Specialization in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Occupational Medicine, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
