What you will do
- Organize, catalog, and maintain a large digital photo archive with consistent metadata, keywords, captions, file names, and folder structures.
- Select, curate, and prepare photographic assets in suitable formats and resolutions for internal and external applications.
- Edit photographs in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop, including color correction, exposure adjustments, cropping, and retouching.
- Photograph people, events, products, facilities, operations, and other assigned subjects in a photojournalistic and documentary style.
- Coordinate with team members on photography needs, manage multiple assignments, and respond to occasional short-notice requests.
- Maintain photography equipment and digital files; travel occasionally for photo assignments, events, or projects.
Requirements
- Professional photography experience with strong photojournalistic or documentary photography skills.
- Excellent organizational, file-management, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Proficiency with Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite.
- Strong understanding of digital photography, exposure, composition, and lighting.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and work flexible hours, including occasional mornings, evenings, weekends, or short-notice assignments.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel occasionally.
Nice to have
- Experience managing a large photographic archive or digital asset library.
- Experience with professional photo cataloging and metadata.
- Experience in corporate, editorial, commercial, aviation, industrial, or documentary environments.
- Basic video or motion-content knowledge and familiarity with additional Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
