Fab Mechanic - Polish Operator 2nd Shift (Aerospace)

Location: 93 Lexington Drive, Laconia, NH, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Inspect manufactured parts for defects and material-handling damage.
• Clean, scrape, deburr, polish, grit blast, and grind parts using files, wire brushes, buffing cloths, and abrasive tools.
• Mount and change abrasive tooling, including rubberized abrasives and bench-grinder wheels.
• Operate grit-blast cabinets, die grinders, Dremel tools, Scotchbrite, and abrasive wheels.
• Use compressed air to remove residue from the interior and exterior of polished parts.
• Perform other assigned production duties while maintaining reliable attendance.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must pass a respirator medical evaluation and fit test before performing duties and annually thereafter.
• Must wear a respirator for an average of eight hours per day.
