Tax Manager - Real Estate (Real Estate)

Location: Hybrid role in Uniondale, New York, USA

Salary: $126,500–$166,300 in Manhattan or $116,250–$159,640 in Uniondale, depending on qualifications, experience, work arrangement, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Provide tax, accounting, and advisory services to real estate clients.
• Review accounting records and reporting, deliver analysis and consultation, and discuss accounting and business matters with clients.
• Manage client relationships, resolve issues, and support the delivery of additional services.
• Delegate and oversee engagement work, set goals, allocate resources, and manage deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of local, state, and federal tax practices and laws.
• Support staffing, billing, collections, profitability, business development, and team member growth.

Requirements

• Four-year degree.
• CPA, EA, or law license.
• At least five years of experience.
• Experience providing tax services in a professional services firm and working with real estate clients.
• Strong management, analytical, organizational, interpersonal, project management, and communication skills.
• Advanced software and Microsoft Suite skills, with the ability to lead and supervise others.

Nice to have

• More than five years of tax services experience.
• At least two years of supervisory experience mentoring and counseling associates.
