Telecom Quality Control Inspector (Telecommunications)

What you will do

• Inspect and monitor telecom installation for fiber optic, structured cabling, CCTV, access control, PAGA, telephone and data networks, radio, microwave, and TETRA systems.
• Verify compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, SAES, SAEP, SATIP, project specifications, and approved IFC drawings.
• Review and approve ITPs, method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings.
• Conduct site inspections for cable laying, termination, splicing, grounding, and equipment installation.
• Witness testing and commissioning, including OTDR, power meter, fiber loss, system integration, and functional testing.
• Coordinate with construction, engineering, and commissioning teams, close NCRs and SORs, and support inspections, audits, and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in telecommunications, electronics, or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 7–8 years of telecom quality control experience on Oil & Gas EPC projects.
• Saudi Aramco approval and CBT pass as a QC Telecom/Communication Inspector are required or preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Saudi Aramco telecom systems and EPC contractors on Aramco projects.
• Knowledge of Aramco telecom standards, IFC drawings, ITPs, MIR, WIR, FAT/SAT procedures, and turnover packages.
• Strong inspection, documentation, reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
