What you will do
- Translate global and regional Health & Safety strategy into an actionable country roadmap.
- Lead risk identification, assessment, and control, focusing on the effectiveness of critical controls.
- Build a proactive safety culture through leadership accountability, employee engagement, and behavioural change.
- Strengthen incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and prevention processes.
- Coach and develop Health & Safety personnel and operational leaders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and SGS standards across acquisitions, projects, and operational changes.
Requirements
- Degree in Health & Safety or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 10 years of Health & Safety management experience, including leadership in complex or multi-site environments.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders, leading change, and driving continuous improvement.
- Strong strategic risk leadership, stakeholder engagement, safety culture, and team development capabilities.
Nice to have
- Professional certification such as NEBOSH or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
