TL;DR
Automation QA Engineer (Appium/TypeScript): Building, maintaining, and improving automated tests and scalable testing frameworks for complex iOS and Android trading applications with an accent on mobile quality, API coverage, and release stability. Focus on integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, investigating complex failures, and driving quality gates across the development lifecycle.

What you will do
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated tests for complex iOS and Android applications.
- Build scalable automation frameworks and testing infrastructure.
- Perform manual and automated testing across mobile platforms and define effective test coverage from requirements and technical designs.
- Own testing scope and quality gates for releases, including execution and sign-off.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and improve test reliability.
- Collaborate with Mobile Developers, QA, Product, and other R&D stakeholders while investigating and tracking defects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA Automation experience, including a manual testing background.
- Strong experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks for iOS and/or Android applications.
- Experience with Appium or similar mobile automation tools and BrowserStack or a comparable cloud device-testing platform.
- Strong programming skills, preferably in TypeScript, plus API testing and REST services experience.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Scrum/Agile teams, software testing methodologies, logs, and debugging tools.
- Spoken English at B2 level and the ability to work from the Warsaw office according to the team’s hybrid work model.
Nice to have
- Experience in trading or fintech, Flutter application testing, and web or API automation.
- Experience with performance or load testing, Postman, real-time applications, or WebSockets.
- Previous experience in an international R&D environment.
