Consultant, Asset Management Front Office Support

Location: Chicago, IL, United States. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $74,200–$126,200 USD per year, plus a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.

What you will do

• Provide day-to-day front-office support for assigned portfolio management teams.
• Validate positions, market values, cash balances, and exposures; investigate breaks and coordinate resolution with reconciliation, custody, and accounting teams.
• Monitor trades through execution, confirmation, settlement, and reporting, resolving exceptions with internal and external counterparties.
• Support account, strategy, instrument, counterparty, venue, and broker setup and maintenance across investment platforms.
• Manage corporate action elections, lifecycle events, and instrument-specific processing, including derivatives and OTC products where applicable.
• Prepare performance and attribution analysis, Transaction Cost Chargeback and ETF P&L reporting, and contribute to automation and control improvements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant asset management or financial services experience, preferably in investment operations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Understanding of securities markets and the investment lifecycle across equities, fixed income, FX, futures, and derivatives.
• Working knowledge of trade execution, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and reporting.
• U.S. work authorization without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with Aladdin by BlackRock, Bloomberg, FXall, Perform, IHS Markit/S&P, or hirify.global investment systems such as TCC and IIP.
