Operations Engineer (DevOps)

Location: London office, hybrid with four days in-office each week. The role includes rotating shifts with possible late finishes, weekend work, and work on public or bank holidays.

hirify.global’s Market Data function collects, stores, and distributes real-time financial data from more than 250 exchanges worldwide while migrating services to a cloud platform.

What you will do

• Monitor the application stack and infrastructure and investigate detected issues with London and Mumbai squads.
• Provide first- and second-line support, take corrective action, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Identify gaps in operational monitoring and tooling and implement effective solutions with relevant teams.
• Deploy, configure, and test new software and updates for the Market Data application stack.
• Contribute to cloud migration and infrastructure projects, including the design and implementation of tooling and automation.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and the team knowledge base.

Requirements

• Excellent English communication skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in Technical Operations or SRE.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server and Wintel hardware, plus network stacks, protocols, and technologies.
• Demonstrable scripting competency with PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience with enterprise and open-source monitoring tools such as Splunk or New Relic.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, Bitbucket, Harness, Kubernetes, or Terraform, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a demanding IT environment.
