Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Chișinău, Moldova; occasional international travel and participation in a 24×7 on-call rota are required.

What you will do

• Manage, design, deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, and secure multi-site production infrastructure powering customer services.
• Administer infrastructure services and operational support systems while maintaining highly available and resilient environments.
• Perform incident resolution, root cause analysis, performance tuning, capacity planning, patching, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Design and implement infrastructure solutions using AWS, Terraform, monitoring, load balancing, clustering, and automation tools.
• Collaborate with software developers on established development, deployment, testing, release, and change-control processes.
• Contribute to infrastructure architecture, technology strategy, continuous service improvement, and upcoming customer projects.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud migration.
• Strong experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools, including Terraform, Puppet, Ansible, YAML, and Python.
• Advanced Linux and Windows administration, configuration, optimization, troubleshooting, and security hardening skills.
• Experience with Bash, Python, Perl, PowerShell, virtualization, containerization, Docker, ESXi, and vCenter.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, TCP/IP networking, DNS, firewalls, proxies, load balancing, monitoring, and modern databases.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elastic Stack, Graphite, Grafana, HAProxy, Keepalived, Shinken, or Nagios.
• Experience supporting distributed international infrastructures and customer-facing 24×7 services.
