  • Develop, evaluate, and document spectroscopic PAT models using NIR, Raman, and related modalities.
  • Assess model performance, residuals, prediction error, bias, variance, outliers, drift, and spectral quality issues.
  • Prepare validation protocols, reports, technical transfer packages, maintenance plans, and lifecycle documentation.
  • Collaborate with platform, laboratory, manufacturing, quality, IT, and automation partners to integrate models into operational workflows.
  • Create reusable Python scripts, notebooks, templates, and analytical workflows supported by version control.

  • At least 4 years of experience with a BS, 2 years with an MS, or relevant PhD-level experience preferred.
  • Deep expertise in at least one spectroscopy modality, such as NIR, Raman, MIR, UV-Vis, or fluorescence.
  • Experience developing, evaluating, or applying models to scientific, analytical, process, manufacturing, or laboratory data.
  • Statistical fluency and experience with a programming language such as Python, MATLAB, R, or a similar scientific computing environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate cross-functionally, and document technical work in regulated or quality-sensitive environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with PLS regression, PCA-based monitoring, spectral preprocessing, calibration transfer, model robustness, or instrument-to-instrument transfer.
  • Experience with PAT, real-time release, process monitoring, laboratory testing, or manufacturing decision support.
  • Experience with Python scientific libraries such as pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, SciPy, matplotlib, or plotly.
  • Experience in GMP, GxP, pharmaceutical manufacturing, analytical method validation, or quality systems.
  • Familiarity with git collaboration, pull requests, code review, and reproducible analytical workflows.

Culture & Benefits

  • Full-time employment in a healthcare and MedTech R&D environment.
  • Annual performance-based bonus, depending on pay grade and location.
  • Vacation, parental leave of at least 12 weeks, bereavement leave, caregiver leave, and volunteer leave.
  • Well-being reimbursement and programs supporting financial, physical, and mental health.
