Manager - Client Accounting (Accounting, Tax and Payroll): Managing client portfolios and delivering accurate accounting, tax, payroll, statutory reporting and advisory services with an accent on Singapore financial reporting standards, regulatory compliance and people leadership. Focus on reviewing complex financial deliverables, coordinating audits, improving operational efficiency, and guiding teams and clients through accounting and tax requirements.

What you will do
- Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee timely delivery of accounting, payroll, tax compliance, statutory reporting and advisory services.
- Review financial statements, management accounts, tax filings and GST submissions for compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Act as a trusted client advisor and coordinate year-end audits with auditors, tax authorities and other stakeholders.
- Support proposals, client onboarding and business development activities.
- Mentor team members, manage workloads and resources, and drive performance against deadlines and service standards.
- Identify process improvements, leverage technology, and support risk management, KYC, governance and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a professional qualification such as ACCA; Chartered Accountant status is preferred.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in accounting, outsourcing, client accounting, audit or professional services, including 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, CPF, Corporate Income Tax, GST and related regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing client portfolios, reviewing complex accounting deliverables and providing technical guidance.
- Proficiency with cloud-based accounting platforms including Xero, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Navision.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, organisational and project management skills.
