What you will do

• Deliver local regulatory audits end-to-end with timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Identify control weaknesses and process gaps, then develop pragmatic recommendations.
• Manage Chinese insurance regulatory deliverables and serve as the Audit Responsible Person for hirify.global Corporate Solutions China.
• Report to the local Audit Committee and Board of Directors and communicate complex findings to stakeholders.
• Contribute to risk assessments, audit scoping, control testing, and wider Group Internal Audit initiatives.
• Apply data analytics and explore AI use cases to improve audit efficiency and insight.

Requirements

• 8+ years of internal and/or external audit experience in the financial industry, including leadership or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of the reinsurance and insurance business, governance, risk environments, controls, and internal audit methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Chinese insurance regulations and their application in audits.
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin).
• University degree in finance, accounting, business, law, or a related field; strong Microsoft Office, data analytics, and AI working experience.
• Ability to manage multiple audits and projects, work under pressure, analyze complex situations, and deliver accurate results on time.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an Audit Responsible Person in an insurance company.
• CPA, CA, or CIA certification.
• IT audit experience.
