Manager, Product Development & Production (Men's Apparel)

Location: Onsite in Beverly Hills, California, Monday–Friday during core business hours

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle for men's apparel styles, from counter-development through final production.
• Translate seasonal apparel business plans into products that meet quality, design, cost and delivery targets.
• Build and manage T&A calendars across global factories and maintain daily communication with overseas offices and vendors.
• Analyze quotes and negotiate fabric, trim and yarn costs to achieve target margins.
• Monitor lab dips, strike-offs, technical specifications, fabrics, yarns and denim wash development for compliance with brand standards.
• Oversee proto, fit and pattern approvals, while building, training and mentoring the product development team.

Requirements

• Experience in apparel product development and production; men's apparel experience is preferred.
• AFA or AA in Fashion Merchandising or Business, or equivalent industry experience.
• Proficiency with Google Suite or Microsoft Office, excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Strong negotiation, follow-up and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex product details to global partners.
• High attention to detail, independence, proactivity and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• English is required.
