RF Expert Short Range Devices (Bluetooth)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid work with most office-based roles onsite three days per week

What you will do

• Develop and validate RF systems and short-range wireless devices for automotive applications.
• Design reusable RF blocks, modules, and products covering schematic, layout, simulation, measurement, and implementation.
• Perform RF measurements, debugging, performance analysis, and prototype troubleshooting in laboratory environments.
• Use spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and other RF test equipment.
• Contribute to EMC and regulatory testing and integrate RF and regulatory requirements into product development.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, system engineering, and functional owner teams while maintaining technical documentation and test reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, RF Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Academic knowledge of RF and wireless communication systems, including Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, UWB, NFC, and RFID.
• Knowledge of high-frequency engineering, HF simulation, EMC, signal processing, antennas, and laboratory measurement techniques.
• Basic knowledge of Linux, Bash or shell scripting, and RF measurement equipment.
• Familiarity with Python, MATLAB, or LabVIEW.
• Working knowledge of English is required; willingness to travel and a valid driver’s license are also required.
