PDK Developer and Support Engineer (IC Design)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain in-house Process Design Kits (PDKs) for custom integrated circuit design environments.
• Customize external foundry PDKs for internal design teams.
• Integrate simulation, physical verification, and parasitic extraction collateral.
• Create and maintain Cadence SKILL and Linux shell automation utilities for design flows, environment configuration, and design data management.
• Provide worldwide support for Cadence design capture and layout tools, including PDK usage and troubleshooting.
• Deliver in-person and online training and maintain web-based documentation for design teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in custom integrated circuit design environments.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and supporting Process Design Kits.
• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso-based design capture and layout flows.
• Automation and scripting experience for IC design productivity using Python, Cadence SKILL, Bash, or Perl.
