Fabrication Mechanic - Marking - 1st & 2nd Shift Available

Location: Laconia, New Hampshire, United States; onsite, full-time. First- and second-shift schedules are available. The second shift runs Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM.

What you will do

• Read engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers to determine marking requirements.
• Apply identification markings using electro-etch, laser, vibro-peen, dot-peen, and ink methods.
• Scan barcodes or manually enter identification data into the computer.
• Transfer ink markings and prepare, apply, and assemble aluminum and stainless-steel tags.
• Install shrink sleeves over markings when required.
• Maintain reliable attendance and perform the role’s standing, walking, reaching, handling, and lifting duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, one to three months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings, factory orders, and routers.
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear throughout the workday.
• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
• Close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Consistent, regular, and punctual onsite attendance is required.
