Quality Assurance Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, develop, maintain, and improve automated tests for the hirify.global IDEA Windows desktop application.
• Improve the reliability, maintainability, coverage, and execution speed of the existing Ranorex automation framework.
• Evaluate, prototype, and implement alternative desktop automation tools where appropriate.
• Integrate automated testing into GitHub, CI/CD, development, and release validation workflows.
• Perform exploratory, manual, regression, and release testing while investigating failures and root causes.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product owners to improve testability, observability, and quality practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience as an SDET, Automation QA Engineer, QA Developer, or similar quality engineering professional.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining automated tests for complex software products, including Windows desktop applications.
• Programming or scripting skills in C#, PowerShell, or Python, plus experience with Ranorex, WinAppDriver, Appium for Windows, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with Playwright, CI/CD concepts, GitHub, software testing methodologies, risk-based testing, and test design techniques.
• Mandatory proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, and Devin.

Nice to have

• Experience with Postman, SQL, Windows command-line tools, installers, logs, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with audit, accounting, fintech, data analysis products, or customer workflows.
