Senior Software Engineer (Go)

hirify.global develops a cloud security platform that uses runtime context and eBPF-powered sensors to identify and prioritize risks, protect cloud infrastructure, and provide API security.

What you will do

• Design and develop production services and components in Go.
• Build reliable and scalable backend functionality for a cross-platform security product.
• Integrate operating-system APIs and maintain cross-platform components.
• Design APIs and service-to-service communication.
• Work with relational databases and persistent storage.
• Troubleshoot complex production and system-level issues and contribute to architecture decisions.

Requirements

• Strong production experience with Go and backend systems or APIs.
• Strong understanding of concurrency and multithreaded programming.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL, transactions, indexes, schema design, and database performance.
• Experience with long-running services, agents, daemons, or desktop/system software.
• Understanding of operating-system concepts, including processes, IPC, permissions, filesystems, and networking.
• Experience with at least one of the Windows, macOS, or Linux system APIs, plus reliable distributed systems and strong debugging skills.

Nice to have

• Endpoint security or EDR experience.
• Cross-platform development experience.
• Experience with gRPC, Protobuf, SQLite, MDM platforms, code signing, or software packaging.
• Experience with Windows Services, launchd, or systemd.
