Backend Engineer (Golang)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel. Applicants must have the legal right to work in Israel without visa sponsorship.

What you will do

• Develop backend software components end to end, from research and design through testing, rollout, and monitoring.
• Build and maintain large-scale distributed components for the Wiz platform.
• Contribute to technological and architectural decisions.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of backend systems.
• Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams to deliver features.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of backend engineering experience with a high-level programming language such as Java, C#, or Golang.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience with microservices-based architecture, databases, and message queues.
• Familiarity with Golang, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Neptune, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.
• Legal right to work in Israel without visa sponsorship.
