Senior Golang Engineer (iGaming)

hirify.global develops software platforms for online sports betting businesses, including the hirify.global Sportsbook.

What you will do

• Design and build scalable backend solutions in Go for a high-load, business-critical system.
• Contribute to architectural, infrastructure, and strategic technical decisions.
• Collaborate within a Scrum team and plan your own workflow.
• Conduct code reviews and document implementation decisions.
• Improve reliability, performance, and maintainability through clean, testable code.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience, including at least 4 recent years with Go as the primary language.
• Strong knowledge of Go internals, data structures, multithreading, memory management, and garbage collection.
• Experience with relational databases and complex SQL query optimization.
• Solid Linux knowledge and experience with Docker, Kafka, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to write testable code and unit tests.
• English at Intermediate level and Russian at Upper-Intermediate level.

Nice to have

• Experience in finance or other domains where data integrity is critical.
• Knowledge of distributed applications, microservice architecture, DDD, Clean Architecture, or Hexagonal Architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.
