Surety Intern (Insurance)

What you will do

• Support the surety team with risk monitoring and intelligence development.
• Assist underwriters by entering information and preparing reports.
• Contribute to the development of new management tools.
• Interact with customers and brokers while learning about the surety and insurance markets.
• Support the handling, issuance, and maintenance of surety bonds.
• Provide support to related areas, including origination and claims.

Requirements

• Current student of Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Expected graduation in 1.5 years or more.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Strong communication, independent thinking, business curiosity, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to build effective working relationships in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance.
