Senior Software Developer (Fullstack)

Location: Aarhus C, Denmark. The role involves security-classified projects and requires a clean criminal record plus having lived in a NATO and/or EU country for the past seven years.

What you will do

• Develop mobile software for mounted and dismounted commanders operating in the field.
• Build solutions for vehicles and handheld devices that provide real-time situational awareness.
• Implement resilient network protocols so frontline units can share a common operational picture.
• Develop APIs that enable customers to integrate sensors and drones.
• Work across a full-stack codebase with Angular frontend and Java backend, troubleshooting complex problems and shaping new features.
• Contribute to architecture, maintainability, code reviews, technical sparring, and stronger engineering practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software engineering or a related field.
• Solid, hands-on professional software development experience.
• Ability to take ownership of complex tasks in an existing codebase and design software beyond basic implementation.
• Experience with Java and Angular is advantageous; experience with another strongly typed, object-oriented language such as C# is also relevant.
• Proactive communication, openness to feedback, and commitment to high-quality code.
• Fluent written and spoken English, a clean criminal record, and seven years of residence in a NATO and/or EU country are required.
