Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Gaupne, Norway; permanent full-time on-site position with work-from-home options by agreement with the manager

Salary: NOK 439,320–702,912 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive front-end interfaces using Angular and AngularJS.
• Build secure, scalable backend services with C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using SQL Server or similar relational databases.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and end users to define processes, requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated builds and deployments, Docker containers, and unit and integration testing.
• Participate in code reviews, Agile collaboration, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, comparable technical experience, or a strong technical background and interest.
• Experience or strong interest in full-stack development, database design, RESTful APIs, and clean, testable code.
• Experience with Azure Cloud Services, such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure OpenAI Service, or Azure DevOps.
• Practical experience or strong interest in using AI/LLM APIs, including OpenAI or LangChain, to enhance application features.
• Fluent English required; Norwegian Bokmål or Nynorsk is an advantage.
• Ability to work on-site in Gaupne, Norway, with home-office work available by agreement with the manager.
